César Passarinho

César Passarinho, (1949 - 1998 ) was a Brazilian musician, an interpreter of Guri and Negro da Gaita songs. His nickname, Finch, is a reference to his father, who had the nickname gurrião (Sparrow). The son became a bird's bird.
The milonga musician began his musical career playing at the balls in Uruguaiana.
In 1983, he took the stage in California together with the voices of Fagundes Neto and Renato Borghetti .
César "Finch" died in Caxias do Sul, 43 days after being admitted to the hospital for the treatment of cancer in the right lung.
